Terms of Use

Last updated: April 17, 2026

1. Agreement

Welcome to BassCalendar.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is owned and operated by Tournament Angler Supply, Inc., a New York corporation ("we," "us," or "our").

2. What BassCalendar.com Is

BassCalendar.com is a free, informational directory of bass fishing tournaments, clubs, trails, fishing guides, and related content across the United States and its territories. We curate and republish publicly available tournament schedules and user-submitted event information to help anglers find events to fish.

We do not:

  • Run, sponsor, or organize tournaments
  • Collect entry fees or process payments for any event
  • Guarantee that any tournament listed will actually take place on the date shown
  • Guarantee that any sponsor, guide, or boat dealer linked from the Site will perform as advertised

3. Event Information — "AS IS" Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Tournament dates, locations, rules, entry fees, and contact information change frequently. Events are sometimes postponed, relocated, or cancelled on short notice. Always verify details with the tournament host before traveling or making plans. Call or email the host listed for the event. Do not rely solely on BassCalendar.com.

All information on the Site is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any information on the Site, including but not limited to event schedules, locations, entry fees, rules, contact information, sponsor information, guide information, boat dealer listings, and links to third-party sites.

4. Your Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site without our prior written permission, except as standard, polite search-engine indexing
  • Attempt to interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure
  • Copy, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of our content without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Site
  • Use the Site to harass, defame, or harm any person or organization
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site

5. User-Submitted Content

If you submit comments, feedback, event information, or other content through the Site (collectively, "User Content"), you represent and warrant that:

  • The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You have the right to submit it and grant the license described below
  • It does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • It is not unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable

By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute the User Content in connection with the Site and our business, including the right to edit it for clarity, accuracy, or fit. We may decline to post, or remove, any User Content at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and third-party content linked from the Site, the content on the Site — including the BassCalendar.com name and branding, the organization and compilation of tournament data, the guide profiles, the design, logos, and software — is owned by Tournament Angler Supply, Inc. or licensed to us, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws.

Tournament names, club names, trail names, and similar identifiers referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for informational/directory purposes.

Factual event information (dates, locations, host names) is not copyrightable and may be freely used. The original text, descriptions, guide profiles, graphics, and the compiled database structure are ours.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites — including event host sites, sponsor sites, fishing guides, boat dealers, Facebook pages, and others. These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of third-party sites. You use them at your own risk.

8. Sponsors and Advertising

The Site displays paid sponsor placements (for example, insurance agencies, tackle brands, fishing guides, or boat dealers). A sponsor placement does not imply that we endorse the sponsor's products or services, or that any claims made by the sponsor are accurate. You are responsible for evaluating any product or service you purchase from a sponsor.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS CORRECT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOURNAMENT ANGLER SUPPLY, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION ON THE SITE, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY CONTENT ACCESSED THROUGH THE SITE.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00), OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (WHICH FOR THE FREE SITE IS ZERO), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tournament Angler Supply, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, expense, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any User Content you submit; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will post a notice on the Site for a reasonable period before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
